Custom Framing
Distinction offers custom matting and framing in house at competitive prices. We have about 100 corner samples on display, a large catalog with additional samples, and can also make custom wood frames. We offer a 20% framing discount for pieces purchased within the building.
Custom Panels
We also build custom panels for artists. You can see samples of what we have it stock in our store. Custom shapes and sizes can be ordered through the gallery with pre payment. Panels are on 1/4 birch wood, glued to 1 x 2 boards, and sanded. We recommend that you gesso or seal your painting to prevent wood from cracking.
Installation Services
We offer installation of gallery purchases and/or rehanging of your entire collection. Contact the gallery for pricing information.
Artwork Photography
As a service to artists in the community we offer artwork documentation at very reasonable prices. We will digitally photograph your artwork (using strobes) on a seamless backdrop and burn tiff or jpeg images to a cd. Cost is $15/piece with a minimum of 5 artworks per shooting. This price is for pieces up to 4 x 4 feet. Contact the gallery for larger sizes. Images you will receive will be large enough for 8 x 10 prints and/or web use. We generally time these shoots with our upcoming exhibition shoots so it is best to contact us on as close to the 1st as possible to arrange for artwork dropoff.
